By using SmartType, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Use License

SmartType grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

• Reproduce or duplicate content without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service
• Disrupt the normal operation of the service

Section 9 is an express exception to this: sharing screenshots, recordings and live streams of your own sessions is permitted, including on monetized channels.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Maintaining confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account

4. Prohibited Behavior

You agree not to:

• Engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination
• Post illegal or harmful content
• Attempt to exploit or hack the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Disclaimer

SmartType is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs. Use at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of SmartType, including loss of data or income.

7. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code of SmartType are owned by SmartType or its licensors. You may not use our intellectual property without permission, except as described in Section 9.

9. Sharing, Streaming and Video

You are welcome to share SmartType. You may post screenshots and recordings of your own sessions on social media, stream your play live, and publish videos on YouTube, Twitch or any comparable platform. This includes monetized channels and sponsored content. You do not need to ask us for permission first.

We ask one thing in return: where the platform allows it, please include a link to https://smart-type.com so that people who see your post can find the tool. This is a request rather than a condition — your permission to share does not depend on it.

This section covers sharing your own play. It does not permit republishing SmartType's code, design or word data as your own product, or presenting the service as something you built or operate.
